What data do We collect?

Automatically collected data. When you use the Website, the Company automatically collects the following information:

  • Information about your usage of the Website (number of times you have visited the Website, your actions on the Website).

Communication data. When you submit follow-up form or contact the Company via available contact details, you hereby provide the Company the following information:

  • Your e-mail address;
  • Your telephone number (if applicable);

Individual Customer`s data. If you are an Individual Customer and order any Items on the Website, you will be asked (in addition to the Communication data) to provide the following information to the Company:

  • The information about your order (or, in other words, the Item(s) you want to order);
  • Other information required to create and send you an invoice.

Transaction data. When you (as an Individual Customer) make any transactions to pay for the Items, offered on the Website, you hereby provide the Company the following data:

  • Information about your payment instrument (payment card, bank account or electronic wallet), including the information about the holder of the account, first six and last four digits of the payment card and other data necessary to identify this payment instrument;
  • Information about these transaction(s) and the supportive evidence of these transaction(s).

Corporate Customer`s data. When you represent Corporate Customer and contact the Company via available contact details in order to establish the business relationships with the Company, you hereby (in addition to the Communication data) provide Us with following information:

  • The information about your job-role at your Company;
  • The Information about your Company.

Marketing data (if applicable). We may collect the information on whether or not have you agreed to receive Our Marketing Newsletter.

How the Company uses the data relating to you?

To administer, operate and protect this Website. We use your automatically collected data in order to:

Examples include, without limitation, to usage of your Corporate Customer`s data, Transaction data, Individual Customer`s data and Communication data for compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Legislation and for compliance with your data subject`s requests.

To establish business relationships with you as the Corporate Customer or to take steps prior to entering into business relationships. If you represent any business entity (or, in a plain language, a company), the Company will use your Communication data and Corporate Customer`s data in order to establish business relationships with you or in order to enter into precontractual negotiations with you. 

To contact you. The Company may use your Communication data in order to contact for some purposes (for example, to respond to your messages and requests).

To send you our Marketing Newsletter. The Company may use your Marketing data to send you Our Marketing Newsletter (if applicable).

With whom the Company may share your data?

The Company may share your data with the following recipients:

Affiliates, sub-contractors of the Company. Some services of the Company and/or tools of the Website may belong to the company/companies, other than BORDO GROUP LIMITED (affiliated companies). Thus, your data may be shared with them for the purposes described herein.

Providers of payment services (merchants, payment gateways, banks). When you make transactions for any of the Items, your transaction/payment will be processed by third party. Thus, your data will be disclosed to them.

Public Authorities. In case of the legal obligation to disclose your data to the Public Authorities (for example, pursuant to the request of the court or police), the Company will do this.

Cloudflare. The Company uses the Cloudflare analytics services, supplied by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. How long the Company shall store the data relating to you?

The Company shall process your data as long as required for the purposes, described herein. If you have ordered any Items from the Website, your Communication data, Transaction data, and Individual Customer`s data shall be stored as long as required for the purposes of Anti-Money Laundering legislation (basically, for 5 years).

Your Rights as the data subject.

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Chapter 486) of the Laws of Hong Kong, you have the number of the rights as specified below. If you want to implement any, please send your request to Our Data Protection Officer dpo@bordogroupltd.com.

Data access request. You have the right to be informed whether we hold your personal data and if we hold such data, to be supplied by us with the copy of such data.

Data correction request. You have the right to have your data, processed by the Company, corrected.

Data erasure request. You have the right to have your data, processed by the Company, deleted. Please note, that this right shall be applied only if the Company has no legal obligation to retain your data for an additional period.

Please note that the Company may deny in realization of the abovementioned rights in case of ambiguity of the identity of the requestor. It means that you may be required to provide the proves of your identity prior to realization of any of the rights, mentioned above.
